purpose
This site is a personal expression. I love working equally with my heart, hands, & mind… hopefully creating things that are useful, maybe unexpected, and seeing people smile.
The site has some photos that I’ve taken and others have taken, a magnet experiment, teaser film, etc. It also has some woodworking projects like a pallet bar, a funky historic door table, but it’s missing some chairs, benches, a birdhouse with 3 perches (to represent my three boys for my wife affectionately called bird), a small boat (that I never got around to glassing), etc. One of my fondest memories was building stuff in my uncle's shop in New Hampshire as a kid… he had a couple lumber yards so it was the shop of all shops. I can smell the shop just by thinking about it.

where
I've lived my entire life on the coast, born in Beach Haven, NJ and raised our family in Manasquan, NJ, both incredible fishing and surfing communities. I've always felt the most inspired in and around New England coastal communities. So, after we had a year-long adventure traveling by boat (on a trawler as a family of 5 & 2 dogs) throughout the southeast US, the Exumas, and up the east coast, we decided to make a new home in Portsmouth, NH.

Professional background
I get tremendous satisfaction from the work I do in the media/tech space so I spend most of my energy there. I’ve co-founded or been intrinsically involved in launching the leading opinion app, a dating app for shy people, a baby breathing monitor, a trading game to produce data for a hedge fund, etc. In addition, I helped turn around a Fortune 500 media co. and ran a digital agency that had clients like Nike and Universal Studios.
